Sales
Sales
Write quotes, invoice them, and record the payments — with or without a webshop.
View as MarkdownSales is where the documents you send to a customer live: quotes, invoices, credit notes and the payments recorded against them. It appears as Sales in the sidebar for every business. It works whether or not you sell through a storefront. If you do, quote requests from your storefront arrive in the same list as the quotes you write yourself, marked Storefront request.

How the pieces fit together
- You write a quote and send it. It gets its number at that moment, the prices are frozen, and the customer receives a PDF with a link to accept or decline it.
- When the customer accepts, Sales does what you configured under Sales settings → Quotes → When a quote is accepted: it creates a draft invoice, or (with the Webshop module enabled) an order.
- You send the invoice, the customer pays, and you record the payment. The invoice flips to Paid when nothing is left open.
- A sent invoice is never edited. A correction is a credit note, which is its own numbered document.
Numbers come from the series you define under Settings → Numbering. Drafts have no number: nothing is burned until you actually send a document.
What lives elsewhere
- Your company details, logo, IBAN and signature are under Settings → Business, not here. They print on every document.
- Number formats and prefixes are under Settings → Numbering.
- VAT classes are under Settings → Taxes.
- Contacts and their addresses are under Contacts.
On mobile
The Borkol app shows the same quotes, invoices and payments, and lets you resend an email, cancel a quote, record a payment, mark an invoice paid and open any PDF. Writing and editing documents happens in the dashboard, where the full editor lives. See Sales on mobile.
