The Team tab under Settings lists the people with access to this account and all of its businesses. Team membership is account-wide: someone you invite can work in every business in the account, not just the one currently selected.

Owners and members

There are two roles, shown on each member card:

RoleWhat they can do
OwnerEverything a member can, plus invite people, remove members, and revoke pending invites.
MemberFull access to the workspace, but the Team tab is read-only for them: no invite form, no Remove or Revoke buttons.

The role only affects the Team tab. Members can still edit their own account details, manage API keys and webhooks, and view the activity log.

Invite a teammate

Owners see an Invite someone card at the top of the tab. The invitee gets an email link, valid for 7 days.

  1. Open Settings and switch to the Team tab.
  2. In the Invite someone card, fill in Name and Email. Both are required; the button stays disabled until both are filled.
  3. Click Send invite. On success you see Invite sent to followed by their email address.

The invite appears under Pending invites with its expiry date until it is accepted or revoked. If the 7 days pass before they accept, send a new invite.

What the invitee sees

The email link opens an Accept invite page. The same form handles two situations, and a hint above the fields explains which applies:

  • New to Borkol: they pick a name and password (Your name, Password, Confirm password) and click Accept invite. They are signed in immediately, their first business is selected, and they land on the dashboard.
  • Already has a Borkol account with that email: they leave the name and password fields empty and just click Accept invite. The invite links to their existing account, and they are sent to the login page with the message Invite accepted. Log in to access the workspace. They then log in with their usual password.

If the link is broken or incomplete, the page says the invite link is invalid and asks them to request a new one from the account owner.

Remove a member

Only owners can remove members, and owners themselves cannot be removed from this screen.

  1. On the Team tab, find the member's card and click Remove.
  2. A Remove member dialog confirms: removing them means they immediately lose access to every business in this account.
  3. Click Remove to confirm, or Cancel to keep them.

Revoke a pending invite

  1. Under Pending invites, click Revoke on the invite.
  2. A Revoke invite dialog confirms that their link stops working.
  3. Click Revoke to confirm.

A revoked invite cannot be un-revoked; send a fresh invite if you change your mind.
