Sales
Sales settings
Acceptance mode, validity, payment term, terms text, and the libraries that autocomplete your documents.
View as MarkdownSales → Settings has five tabs, in this order: Quotes, Invoices, Libraries, Documents, Templates.
Quotes
- Acceptance — One click shows the customer an Accept and a Decline button; Drawn signature has them sign on the quote page, and an accepted quote is then labelled Signed with a second PDF carrying the signature.
- When a quote is accepted — Create a draft invoice, or Create an order. The order option only appears with the Webshop module enabled; without it, only the invoice option is offered.
- Default validity (days) — fills in Valid until when you send a quote without one set.
- Default introduction — pre-fills a new quote's introduction text.
- Terms — the terms text printed on a quote. It is snapshotted onto the quote the moment you send it, so editing it here never changes a quote that was already sent.
Quote requests
With the Webshop module enabled, the Quotes tab also carries the Quote requests card (it used to live under Webshop → Settings → Cart). It lets shoppers request a quote instead of checking out directly, and sets when that kicks in. Incoming requests appear on the Quotes screen with the origin Storefront request. The card has its own Save button.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Enable quote requests | Switch. While it is off, a product or configurator choice set to Quote only still checks out directly. |
| Cart total threshold | Carts at or above this total trigger a quote request. Leave empty to skip this rule. |
| Cart quantity threshold | Carts with this many items or more trigger a quote request. Leave empty to skip this rule. |
| Quote link URL template | The URL the customer receives to view their offer, for example https://shop.example.com/quote/{token}. Must contain the {token} placeholder; leave empty to use the default storefront quote link. |
Two more things send a cart into the quote flow: a product whose Purchasability in its Quote section is Quote only, and a customer in a contact group with Always require a quote switched on (see Contact groups). If you run a custom storefront, the quote flow it implements against these settings is documented in the quote requests API reference.
Invoices
- Payment term (days) — the due date is the issue date plus this many days.
- Footer note — pre-fills a new invoice's footer note.
Libraries
Two tabs, Lines and Scope items. Both list entries added automatically the first time you use them on a document — there is no manual "add to library" step. Edit a label or unit price (lines) or a category or label (scope items) in place; removing an entry only stops it from being suggested, it leaves documents that already used it untouched.
Documents and Templates
Which template each document kind uses, and the templates themselves — see Templates.
Who can change what
Default validity (days), Terms, Payment term (days) and Footer note are stored on your business profile and can only be saved by the account owner; everyone else sees them disabled with a note explaining why. Acceptance and Default introduction can be changed by anyone with access to Sales settings. See Business profile for the rest of what lives there.
