Marketing on mobile

What the Borkol app does for marketing runs, scripts, learnings and costs, and what stays on the web.

View as Markdown

The Borkol mobile app has Marketing when the module is on for your business. It sits in the bottom bar when there is room, otherwise under More. Overview, Scripts and Knowledge run across the top; the brand switcher at the top of Overview picks the brand, the same brands as on the dashboard.

The marketing screens arrive as an in-app update: close and reopen the app to get Marketing.

What you can do on the app

  • Ask a question. Overview has the same box as the dashboard: "What do you want to make?", with Number of scripts under More options (Default takes the number from your request or Scripts per run). Create scripts starts the run. Tap one of the Ideas to fill the box. The hints under it say what would make the scripts better and open the matching page on the web.
  • See recent runs and what waits. Recent runs lists the latest runs with All runs for the full list (search, sort and a status filter, grouped by day). To review counts scripts waiting for review, with View all.
  • Follow a run. A run opens as a list of its steps (Research, Angles, Scripts, Check), each with its status, model, duration and cost. It updates while the run works. A scenes run lists its script hooks under Scripts instead, each with its status (and why it failed); tap one to open the script. A run that goes deeper on picked scripts lists each of them as Deeper on in its details; tap one to open that script.
  • Continue a paused run. A run paused at its cost limit shows Paused at run limit; a run paused at the brand's monthly limit shows Paused at monthly limit. Continue asks for a New cost limit (or a New monthly limit for a monthly pause) that is higher than what is spent. Continuing needs the approve permission, like on the web.
  • Try again on a failed run, and Cancel run on a run that is queued, running or paused.
  • Review scripts. Scripts lists the brand's scripts by day, with search, sort and filters on Status, Check and Golden set. A script shows its hooks with their ad codes, the body, Call to action, ad copy, the check result and its results. Approve, or Reject with a Reason for rejecting (required). Share script sends the whole script as text. Press and hold an ad code to copy it.
  • Read scenes. A script with scenes shows them under Scenes, per hook: the target length and why, Made in this scenes run (opens the run) and Share scenes, which sends the whole shot list as text. Each scene is its own section with its seconds, what is seen, the prompt with Share prompt, text on screen, voiceover, sound, a reference note and the image to attach.
  • Accept or retire learnings. Knowledge lists the brand's learnings. Tap one to see its numbers and the scripts and ad codes behind it, then Accept or Retire. Both need the approve permission.
  • Read proposed knowledge. Proposed knowledge at the top of Knowledge lists entries waiting for review, read only.
  • See costs. More on Overview → Costs shows spent this month, cost per script, runs, the Remaining OpenRouter credit, the Monthly limit and the latest runs with their cost.

What stays on the web

Setting up and editing a brand, imports, every Settings section (the OpenRouter key, the AI pipeline, the monthly limit, brands), playbooks, Your agent, the pipeline canvas and the brief, exports, adding a script to the golden set, accepting, editing or rejecting knowledge entries, making scenes (Make scenes), Go deeper, the Meta ads and Meta Ad Library connections and the Watch list happen only in the dashboard. Where the app needs one of these, Open on the web opens the exact page on app.borkol.com, for the same brand and business. While a brand's setup is open, Overview shows Finish setting up your brand on the web; once it is finished or dismissed, More → Set up brand again reopens it. Both open the setup steps on the dashboard.

Notifications

The app gets the same four marketing notifications as the bell: scripts ready for review, a run that finished or failed, a run paused at its cost limit or the monthly limit, and a step your agent did not pick up. Tapping one opens that run, switching business first when it belongs to another business you can open. Switch each one off under Settings → Notifications.
