Scenes
Turn a script hook into a shot list for your AI video tool, one scene per clip, and copy it scene by scene.
View as MarkdownA script is a hook, a body and a call to action. An AI video tool makes one short clip at a time. Scenes cut a script into those clips for you: each scene has its seconds, what is seen, a paste-ready prompt, text on screen, voiceover, sound and, where it helps, an image to attach as the start frame.
Make scenes
- Open Marketing → Scripts and tick one or more scripts (up to 20).
- Click Make scenes in the bar above the list.
- Pick the hook under Pick a hook (Hook 1 to Hook 5) and click Confirm. A script with more than five hooks (an imported one) gets scenes for its later hooks from its own page.
Each hook of a script runs as its own ad, so scenes are made per hook. A script without the hook you picked is left out and listed under the table ("This script has no hook 3."). On a script page, More actions → Make scenes does the same for that one script, with every hook to choose from.
Scenes run in a run of their own, on the brand's OpenRouter key or your agent, like any run (see Runs). While they are written a notice shows Writing scenes: 1 of 3 with a bar, also after a reload or on another marketing page. It ends in one of these states:
- Scenes written for one script hook, or 3 scene sets written for several.
- 2 of 3 scenes written, 1 failed when some failed. One failed script never stops the others.
- No scenes were written when every one failed.
- Scenes paused at the run limit when the run reached its cost limit. Continue on the run page goes on with a higher limit.
- Scenes cancelled when the run was cancelled.
Open run on a warning or error notice shows which script failed and why.
Making scenes again for the same hook replaces its scenes. Scenes for another hook of the same script are added next to them. The Scenes column on Scripts counts the hooks that have scenes.
Read and copy scenes
A script with scenes shows a Scenes section at the top of its page. With scenes for more than one hook, tabs (Hook 1, Hook 2) switch between them. On top:
- Target length, in seconds, with the reason, for example "your top 3 ads by purchases run 18 to 24 s" or "no ad results with a length yet".
- Made in this scenes run opens the run.
Then one block per scene, labelled Intro, Hook, Scene 1, Scene 2, Proof, Call to action or Outro, with its time range (for example 0-2 s):
| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
| The first line | What is seen, for you |
| Prompt | The text to paste into the video tool, with Copy prompt |
| Text on screen, Voiceover, Sound | Shown when the scene has them |
| Reference footage | What kind of footage would help, for example "hands, top-down" |
| Attach | A product image or the brand logo to use as the start frame. Click it to open the original. |
Copy all copies the whole shot list as text, and Download saves it as a .txt file:
[INTRO] 0-2s
VISUAL: The logo on a light linen table
PROMPT: Static top-down shot of the logo card, soft daylight, 9:16, cinematic
TEXT ON SCREEN: Welcome
VOICEOVER: -
SOUND: Soft chime
ATTACH: Logo (https://...)An empty value reads -. Paste one block at a time into your video tool.
Video tool settings
Marketing → Settings → AI pipeline has a Video tool box. Scenes are written for it:
| Field | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Name | empty | The tool you use. Optional; the AI only reads it as context. |
| Clip length | 8 | The longest clip one generation makes, 2 to 20 seconds. No scene is longer; a longer beat becomes two scenes. |
| Aspect ratio | 9:16 vertical | Every prompt asks for this format: 9:16 vertical, 1:1 square or 16:9 landscape. |
| Prompt style | empty | Added to the end of every prompt, for example "cinematic, shallow depth of field" (up to 300 characters). |
See Marketing settings.
Images and the logo
Scenes only attach images the brief listed: the gallery images of the products the run was about (or of the products in the brief when the run named none), and the brand logo. Set the logo on the Brand page under What you sell → Logo: Choose logo picks an image from your media library. With no images and no logo, scenes simply attach nothing. An image deleted from the media library later shows "This image is no longer in the media library."
